Congratulations to both students on great accomplishments – please vote below for your PC Activities student of the month:
Elizabeth Mattson- Nordic Skiing: Liz made it to the State Meet as an individual qualifier. She placed 7th at Sections to win her spot. Liz is the 1st girl to make it since 2003 and the first sophomore in team history to qualify for the State Meet. At State, she singlehandedly beat the entire Maple Grove girls team (who won the Section), and the Osseo girl who qualified. Liz placed 83rd overall, but the best part is that Park Center has the fastest female skier in the entire district this year
Nicholas Leeds- Model UN: Nicholas is willing to be a leader for the younger team members, takes the initiative to work with others or alone, and has broad content knowledge regarding international issues.
